The 10-Minute Blitz.
If your application clears, you get 10 minutes over Google Meet with 2 to 3 Split Partners. Every co-founder must be on the call. There is no small talk. Here is exactly how to use those minutes.
How to prepare.
Stop Rehearsing. Make Progress Instead.
The best interview prep is a better company. Spend the days before the call shipping, closing, and learning, not polishing a script. We can tell the difference in the first minute.
Ditch the Jargon.
Explain what you do the way you would to a smart friend. If your answer needs "synergy", "platform play", or "AI-powered" to survive, it will not survive.
Own Your Metrics.
Users, revenue, retention, burn, margins. Know your numbers cold and know why they moved. A founder who checks a spreadsheet mid-call has already answered our real question.
Be Candid About Bottlenecks.
Tell us what is broken. We invest in founders who can name their weakest system, because those are the founders who fix them. Pretending everything works is a red flag, not confidence.
Live Demo, Locked and Loaded.
Have the product open and ready to share before the call starts. No slide decks. If the demo breaks, walk us through the breakage. That is more interesting than a mock-up.
Every Founder Must Speak.
We are evaluating the team, not the frontperson. If one co-founder carries the whole call, we notice. Decide in advance who owns which answers, then let everyone own something.
After the call.
Same-Day Decision
You hear back the same day. Yes or no, in writing, without weeks of limbo.
Real Feedback if Rejected
Every founder who interviews and is not selected receives constructive feedback by email. Not a form letter: the actual reasons.
Re-Applying is Encouraged
A no today is not a no forever. Founders who come back with visible progress since their last application are exactly who we want to see again.
